Personal service is made by delivering the documents to the individual; Wyoming also recognizes substitute service and, where a defendant cannot be located, service by publication in the circumstances set out in Rule 4(k). What is the Small Claims limit in Wyoming?
Wyoming’s Small Claims Court handles claims for money damages or debts up to $6,000. Small claims cases are heard in the Circuit Court’s Small Claims Division, and the filing fee is $10. If your claim exceeds $6,000, you must either reduce it to the limit or file in the regular civil docket of the Circuit or District Court.
